MSc Matthias Krey

Matthias Krey holds a degree in ‘Energy and Environmental Management’ (MSc). He has worked in the field of climate policy since 2001. From 2003 to 2004 he was employed part-time at the University of Flensburg (‘Department of Energy Resource Economics’) and at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWA) (‘International Climate Policy’) as a research fellow in international climate policy. Matthias Krey joined Perspectives in 2004. Since then, he has developed a number of CDM methodologies and has been managing various CDM projects in the UNFCCC registration process (e.g N2O abatement, energy efficiency and renewable energy). Due to his large practical CDM experience and strong technical background Matthias Krey is also responsible for CDM feasibility studies and CDM project assessment for CER buyers.
