Anne-Kathrin Weber studied in Freiburg, Mannheim and Madrid, and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations. As Research Associate at the University of Freiburg, she gained broad research and teaching experience in the fields of international climate and forest politics, international climate negotiations, climate finance and private regulation. In her current PhD studies at the University of Freiburg, she explores the role of multinational corporations in global forest governance. Anne started working with Perspectives in 2015. As Consultant, her focus lies on climate policy instruments, private sector engagement, forests and nature-based solutions. Moreover, she is experienced in evaluating climate finance programmes and providing negotiation support to relevant stakeholders. Anne speaks fluently English and Spanish.
