Lorena Moreno holds a M. Sc. of Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a M. Sc. in Project Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering from IMT- Atlantique Nantes. She holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. As previous experiences, she collaborated with the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change of Mexico to develop a draft for a monitoring network of Black Carbon and worked for the oil industry for a couple of years.
As Junior Consultant she mainly focuses on Latin America and worked on the design of a MRV system for energy efficiency mitigation actions in Costa Rica and on a project to enhance a MRV system in the freight transport using Blockchain in Ecuador. Apart from her focus on the Latin American region, Lorena is engaged in activities in other global areas, like for instance in a project to establish baselines and mitigation potential in the phosphate sector in Morocco.
