Philipp Censkowsky holds a Joint Master´s Degree in Economics from the University of Paris Sorbonne-Nord and the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He concluded his studies as guest researcher at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. Above his academic training, Philipp worked at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on multilateral development banks and their role for climate finance and policy. For several years, he also accompanied a public-private partnership project on mangrove rehabilitation and local value chain improvement in Costa Rica. At Perspectives, Philipp works on projects that support NDC-updates, UNFCCC processes with focus on Article 6 negotiations as well as sustainable finance. He fluently speaks French, English, German and Spanish."
