Mr. Sven Feige holds master’s degrees in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Protection. From 2001 to 2003 he worked as a project engineer for Pro2 Anlagentechnik GmbH, a German producer of technical gas utilization equipment, where he was responsible for design and project management of combined-heat-and-power systems fuelled by landfill gas and biogas.
Since October 2003, he has been an independent consultant in EU emissions trading and gas capture and use. Since 2005, he is engaged with UNFCCC matters and international climate policy. From 2007 to 2012, Sven worked as consultant in Perspectives with a focus on CDM project evaluation and implementation and methodology development in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and waste sector (e.g. waste to energy, biomass, biogas and wind power). Since 2012, Sven is working as Senior Consultant on the development of NAMAs and LEDS with a focus on the design of appropriate MRV systems related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management and transport in various countries (e.g. India, Vietnam and Peru). Sven is also involved in consultancy projects related to (I)NDC development and analysis. Furthermore, Sven is elaborating standardized baselines for various countries in Africa such as Ethiopia.
